Europa Fruit Tree Rootstocks is a company incorporated under French law in 2013, owned equally by the nurseries CIV (Italy), Janssen (Netherlands), Dalival and Castang (France).

As part of the European development of Geneva® rootstock selections, Europa Fruit Tree Rootstocks is responsible for :

  • Introducing new selections
  • Pre- propagation of selections
  • The creation of basic material
  • Protecting selections
  • Managing propagation licences
  • Collecting royalties on behalf of Cornell University
  • Promoting the use of Geneva® rootstocks

Europa Fruit Tree Rootstocks holds an exclusive European licence from Cornell University for 13 Geneva® rootstock selections.
